Pinard Appointed New Quality Manager

Pierre F. Pinard has joined Blasch Precision Ceramics as Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, Pinard will manage the strategic and tactical Blasch Precision Ceramics Quality Assurance Process. This will involve a movement towards the evolution of a Total Quality and Continuous Improvement process and culture. Pinard will be responsible for assuring attainment of customer, internal and corporate quality goals and product quality requirements, reporting to the Vice President of Operations and Systems.

Pinard comes to Blasch with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Pinard recently moved to the Albany, NY area , gaining a Six Sigma Green Belt along with other significant training in communication and leadership skills at another local company. A common thread throughout Pinard’s career has been a focus on understanding and meeting customer requirements, which he achieves through a very hands-on approach to problem solving and program implementation, characteristics which will be indispensable in his new role with Blasch Precision Ceramics.
