Offering advanced Silicon Carbide and Alumina abrasion resistant shapes and systems as engineered solutions for mining's toughest wear problems.  High performance precision hydrocyclone linings are available in oxide bonded, nitride bonded and reaction bonded silicon carbide.  Pipe lining systems, vortex finders, spray nozzles and valve components are also available in a variety of materials.

Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide

Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide has excellent wear, chemical, oxidation, and thermal shock resistance with an inherent resistance to wetting by some molten metals including aluminum.  Blasch nitride bonded silicon carbide offers exceptionally tight dimensional control with as fired net shape linear and geometric tolerances ranging down to +/-0.1%.  The product is produced in a tightly controlled manufacturing process, which results in a very consistent product, ultimately helping to lower the costs of your operation. Our reliable on-time deliveries are among the 'industry best'. We offer inventory-stocking plans, which have helped many customers to exceed their inventory reduction goals. We are particularly adept in the handling of modest order levels, but welcome all quotation requests.

Blasch Precision Ceramics combines three key elements (Blasch Process, Engineering Design and Material Science) to offer innovative, customized net shape ceramic solutions. Based in Albany, NY, Blasch Precision Ceramics has provided innovative technical ceramic solutions for more than 25 years.

Our product range includes parts for the containment and control of molten aluminum and zinc, gasifier components, and abrasion resistant components for the power generation and mining industries. Our Design Engineering staff welcomes the opportunity to review new projects.

Oxide Bonded Silicon Carbide

Oxide Bonded Silicon Carbide has excellent wear, chemical, and thermal shock resistance.  Superior oxidation resistance is achieved by design at the microstructure level.  Blasch oxide bonded silicon carbide offers exceptionally tight dimensional control with as fired net shape linear and geometric tolerances ranging down to +/-0.1%.
