Blasch Announces Two Internal Promotions

Albany, NY – June 25, 2018

Blasch Precision Ceramics, Inc., an Albany-based ceramic technology manufacturer, announces the recent promotions of Tim Connors and Joy Milne.

Tim Connors has been promoted to the role of Senior Market Manager to serve the Energy and Chemical markets. Connors will be responsible for all the products and markets worldwide, including products sold into the markets of chemical, petrochemical, power generation, mining, industrial processing heating, heavy industry and general wear. He will be responsible for meeting forecast expectations within the market, managing and growing Blasch’s distribution channels as well as identifying new growth products and territories. Connors has been with Blasch for 24 years, initially working on the Engineering team designing parts and molds. Connors eventually worked his way into equipment design, product and project management, and then applications engineering which led him into sales management of a specific territory. “I became a Market Manager 8 years ago working specifically on managing Power Generation, Mining, Industrial Process Heating, Heavy Industry and Wear,” commented Connors. “While managing a specific territory that had included the Gulf Coast, I was educated on the products that fell within the Chemical and Petrochemical markets, so it was an easy transition to go to Senior Market Manager of Energy and Chemicals.”
