Blasch Continues to Grow with New Hires in its 40th Year of Business

Albany, NY – Founded on October 25, 1979 by Earl Blasch of Colonie, NY. Blasch Precision Ceramics is proudly celebrating its 40th anniversary in business this year.

Headquartered in Albany, NY, Blasch is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered net shape ceramic products and refractory components used across industrial markets worldwide. At its founding, the company focused on the Steel Market. Over the years, company has tremendously expanded into numerous markets, including, but not limited to: Molten Metals, Refining/Chemical Process Industries, Power Generation, Mining, and Industrial Process Heating. Blasch has also strategically partnered with distributors, agents and key suppliers in six out of the seven continents across the globe.

The company has experienced significant growth in recent years, and employment levels have consistently risen. Since the fall of 2019, Blasch has participated in three career fairs; one through the Albany Times Union, and two internally. The career fairs have resulted in approximately 35 job offers over the course of the past four months. “The Times Union Job Fair is the area’s largest and longest running job fair for a reason,” Jason Tranowicz, Recruitment Advertising Manager for the Times Union said. “As Blasch’s experience shows, our vendors often find highly qualified candidates to fill their hiring needs. We’re proud to be hosting another four all-industry Job Fairs in 2020.” Many of the positions that were filled at Blasch included Sales Engineers, Manufacturing Production Specialists, Mix Room Specialist, Tool Room Specialist, and Runner Lead.
