Blasch to Exhibit at 64th Annual Safety in Ammonia Plants and Related Facilities Symposium

Albany, NY – August 26, 2019

Blasch Precision Ceramics will exhibit at this year’s 64th Annual Safety in Ammonia Plants and Related Facilities Symposium, September 8-12, 2019.

On Monday, September 9 at 3:30 PM, Joe Price of BD Energy Systems along with Jason Hartsell of Cherokee Nitrogen will be presenting a paper on the recent revamp of the plant and benefits achieved throughout with the addition of several updates and new components, including Blasch StaBlox™.

Organized by AIChE’s Ammonia Safety Committee, the annual symposium is dedicated to improving the safety of plants that manufacture ammonia and related chemicals, such as urea, nitric acid, ammonia nitrate, and methanol. Over 400 attendees expected to participate in the symposium, learning more about the technological advances and strategies for improving plant safety, maintenance, and management. Company leaders and practitioners will describe how their organizations avoid or manage potential plant accidents, and present solutions to a variety of safety engineering problems. Participants will also receive an overview of products available to improve safety measures. Learn more at the Safety in Ammonia website.
