CeraLoop™ Channel Furnace Linings

Blasch CeraLoop™ channel furnace linings are fully fired, erosion-resistant ceramic linings designed for channel induction furnaces used in non-ferrous metal melting and holding applications. The pre-fired ceramic lining provides a smooth, non-wetting layer of protection between molten metal and the backup refractory, helping reduce erosion, premature lining failure, installation time, and furnace downtime.

CeraLoop™ channel furnace linings are customized for the furnace and application and are ideal for zinc, galvanized alloys, brass, and bronze. Unlike conventional lining systems that require burn-out or melt-out conditioning, CeraLoop™ can be installed by casting or vibrating refractory around the pre-fired ceramic lining.

Read how Blasch Precision Ceramics and Allied Mineral Products entered into an exclusive distributor agreement for the CeraLoop™ channel furnace linings.

Installation: Fast & Easy

Custom ceramic lining: CeraLoop is manufactured for the customer's furnace and application.
Position the pre-fired lining: The ceramic channel lining is installed in the appropriate location within the furnace/inductor assembly.
Cast or vibrate the backup refractory: The existing refractory system can be cast or vibrated around the ceramic lining.
Start the furnace: Because the CeraLoop hot face is already pre-fired, no burn-out or melt-out is required.

A Material Difference

CeraLoop™ channel furnace linings are manufactured from pre-fired, dense, non-wetting Blasch ceramic materials. The ceramic lining acts as an erosion-resistant protective layer between molten metal and the backup refractory. As stated, because the ceramic hot face is pre-fired before installation, the furnace does not require conventional burn-out or melt-out conditioning associated with some lining systems.
