Sample Cups

The Blasch sample cup is a precisely sized, thermal shock-resistant, high alumina ceramic. Designed to facilitate molten metal sampling techniques for metallurgical evaluation, it represents a significant improvement over existing methods. Utilizing the unique Blasch process, Blasch samples cups provide both a consistently precise master sample (13/8” diameter) for chemical analysis and a pin sample (1/4” diameter) for gas analysis in one step without time consuming and costly machining. Each sample cup is designed with a 1/2” NPT tapered thread for a simple attachment to a length of steel pipe to provide added ease in sampling.
